Wet Pour and Notts Sport ChildsPlay seem in demand

After another visit to Glasgow to carry out a large installation for Glasgow Housing/Glasgow Council, the Playground Surfaces (GLS) teams have been busy on a few smaller projects, which has ended up with us travelling a lot more miles!!!

The Wet Pour team have been busy in Worcester and Birmingham as well as handling another recycled bonded glass job in the North.  The wet pour team are in Manchester next.

There has, as always, been a lot of ChildsPlay ordered throughout the UK.

A job in Hartlepool covering over an untidy sand pit was the first job of the year.  The council said there was a lot of broken glass in the sand and it was becoming un manageable for them.  There were a number of items of play equipment on the area, so a variety of the sub base systems were used to ensure safety compliance whilst keeping the project as economical as possible.

A second job in Birmingham has just been completed, where a disused bowling green has been turned into a toddler play area.  A local woman hoped they would expand it in the coming years to include play equipment for the junior age group.
