The single colour, grass green kick about pitches were completed on Friday by Playground Surfaces (GLS).

One of the pitches on Macbeth Street was very close to Celtic F.C. football club.  This was the larger of the two pitches measuring approximately 17x25m.  The site was located on a former park, which had become somewhat run down.  The pitch was a welcome addition to the area the residents happily told us and everyone seemed grateful.

This was highlighted by the fact that there was absolutely no vandalism at all.  It was clear that children had been on the site at night, but our guess that their intensions was inquisitive as opposed to destructive.  This is obviously no longer a consideration as the Notts Sport has been sanded up and will be resistant to any vandalism for years to come.

The second pitch was in the Cockerhill district of Glasgow and formed part of a MUGA (Multi Use Games Area).  GLS pushed on regardless of the fact the installers had actually fitted all the panels of the MUGA making the installation exceptionally testing.  A couple of long shifts ensured that the team got the project completed before the Easter weekend.
